A refrigerated container (reefer) is an insulated shipping container with a cooling motor that maintains the internal temperature of the unit. It is used to store and transport temperature-sensitive cargo.

Refrigerated Shipping Containers are built with superior temperature control and insulation. This ensures the temperature is efficiently maintained with reduced machinery run time, to lower fuel consumption and associated costs. Units can be used with our internal load bars to double the capacity of pallet storage. Our refrigerated containers come in two sizes and we can also offer single phase refrigerated containers as well as our standard 3 phase

Universale Containers supply new refrigerated containers for sale, but we also stock used refrigerated containers for sale also. Our used refrigerated storage containers are refurbished to near new conditions, though we also have refrigerated containers straight off the stack at competitive prices. We supply new and used refrigerated containers to Councils, The Defense Force, Government Departments and also the general public.
